Who We Are

The Moses Kipsiro Foundation was established to continue the legacy of one of Uganda’s greatest athletes by investing in people, especially young people with talent, ambition, and determination.
Born in Bukwo District, Moses Kipsiro rose from humble beginnings to become one of Africa’s most accomplished long-distance runners. Through discipline, hard work and perseverance, he represented Uganda on the world’s biggest stages, inspiring millions across the country.
Today, the Foundation carries forward those same values by nurturing talent, promoting education, supporting healthy communities, and empowering vulnerable families to create lasting social and economic change.
We believe that every child deserves an opportunity to succeed regardless of where they come from.
